Jessica Jenkins
Global (Based in Carrollton, TX)
After serving in Mexico for a year, Jessica returned to Texas to continue working in missions as the Director of Web Development for ObreroFiel.com and other online ministries that are associated with it. Together, these ministries provide online Biblical training, counseling, and resources in Spanish for churches, pastors and individual believers around the world.
Pastors, Sunday school teachers, and new believers can find and download resources to help them learn solid theology and share their faith with their community. People with spiritual questions can find answers by searching the content or by emailing our team who fields the questions to a missionary who is trained to answer that particular question.
Individually, Jessica organizes the visual layout of the website by automating the input of the resources and training her team to create and update those resources. There are almost 10,000 resources, so with the use of a custom database using CMS (which is a content management system… aka WordPress), the site can consistently output complicated layouts for different types of resources… printable, audio, video, and images.
Jessica has three adult children whom she raised in CBC, five grand kids, and she married Scot Jenkins (or Michael Scott) when she returned from her service in Mexico in 2015.
